Regions Bank Bad Credit Unsecured Personal Loans – Credit Card and Payday ... Subprime Blogger (blog)

Many individuals are doing everything possible to avoid a credit card or payday loan due to the fact that the interest rates or fees can be quite high.  With a bad credit payday loan most customers will find that they must pay up front fees between $15 and $35 for every $100 borrowed.  While this may not seem like a lot it can add up quickly when several $100 is borrowed.

Over the next several months it will be very interesting to see what happens with the overall economy.  If the economy continues to struggle then there is a very good chance that we will continue to see interest rates at attractive levels.  If the economy improves then interest rates will likely start to move higher.

With the 30 year fixed mortgage rate currently right around 4% there is no reason to pass up an opportunity to negotiate lower rates.  Refinancing a home loan will likely get very popular over the next several weeks as millions look to save a few extra dollars a month with lower mortgage payments.

What's cheapest - personal bank loan or finance with car dealer?

Sometime you can get real low financing with car dealers.

alot of the car manufacturer's are offering 0% or low interest rates on their loans.

I got a better deal with the car dealer!!

It depends on the interest rate.

Find out what personal loan rates you can get from the bank and compare it with that being offered by the dealer.

Without any further information, no one can say with any certainty one way or the other.

Ask a credit union for a new car loan ... you may be surprised with their answer as to which is less expensive.

The truth is that this will depend on several things. Your bargaining skills at the dealer, your credit history, your down payment and if you have a job.

Want to drop the price of the new car very fast? Take the car you want for a test drive with your sales rep. and drive into another brand car lot and go for a bumper to bumper comparison between the two models. Obviously, you would have gone to that dealer first to meet a sales rep who showed you the model you don't want. I recently got $5200.00 knocked off the price of a new car doing this... during the end of year sale.. ;-)

car dealer

most likely you will do better with a personal loan because the dealer gets a cut of the interest from the loan when the deal goes through

How Can I Get A Personal Loan?

I don't know what my credit score is, but it can't be that bad. I am a single mom of twins, I do not get child support. I'm also a college student, taking online courses. I'm struggling so bad! I live with my mom and I work full time, but it's like I can't get ahead. Something always happens, be it the kids getting sick or my car having problems. I am wanting to move to an area where I can get a decent paying job and live cheaper.
I'm wanting to try to get a personal loan, about $3-5000. Just something that will help me move and get into a place. Once I get settled, I can budget my money and make the payments. Where I'm going also offers more assitance to people in my position. Housing is easier to obtain and all of that.
Can someone suggest what I can do? I'd appreciate any help I can get!

If you don't know what your credit score is, I would recommend that you find out. You can do so at annualcreditreport.com.

You might be able to get a loan from the next website via person-to-person lending as well but it depends on if your credit meets their minimum requirements and whether you can convince enough people willing to bid $50 or more on a loan request. Good luck.

Have seen lots of people asking info on bad credits. Well, if you need to get your problem solved on<!--bad credit, you must know to how to confront it. Of course, Even if you have bad credit, you can get loans. Many factors can contribute to someone getting a "bad credit" rating, among these are non-payment of an account or late payments over an extended length of time. Take a look on

http://badcredits.awardspace.com/personalloans.htm

You may find want you want. You can easily be labelled as a bad credit risk by financial companies. This can make it more difficult to-->arrange loans or other finance, and usually means you will pay more interest on any loan you take out.

Are you for real? Obviously you don't know how to handle your finances - I'm not trying to be mean about it, and I understand hospital bills are tough, but you need to think realistically here. Let me explain this for you on simple terms. If you cannot handle where you are at now, getting a credit card or even a loan of some sort will only be a VERY short-term solution. Even if you were extremely lucky enough to convince someone to lend you $15K on a credit card or on a loan, your monthly interest alone (assume 20% per annum but probably more like 30% because you have bad credit) would be between $250-$375. That would be the interest alone. Your minimum payment would probably be somewhere along the lines of $300-$500 per month on the credit card and paying this every month would hardly make a dent in your new $15K credit card/loan debt. As a result, your credit rating will sink even more. Think seriously about the consequences of using borrowed money. There is a reason we have a credit system set up in the first place.

I would suggest you stop making excuses for unfortunate circumstances in life. The reality of it all is that there is often no quick-fix in life for bad credit. You need to work hard to get out of it. But, you'll be surprises what a little hard work and a positive attitude can do. Think long-term and have a plan. Good luck.

file bankrupcy.

You might look into prosper, I've personally been using them to loan out small amounts of money. It's a peer to peer lending network.

Just because you want a credit card doesn't mean you should have a credit card. Apparently, there is good reasons you have bad credit. And, the companies realize this. They are protecting you from yourself.

If it's really important to get the loan you are talking about, go to the people that love you.... your parents, grandparents, etc. They know you best.

Nobody is going to give you a $15,000 credit card; you're too high a risk. You're also going to have an insane time getting an unsecured loan.

You should write to the hospitals and ask them if they would consider writing off those bills. They do this for low-income patients sometimes, and you seem to fit the bill. My mom got several five-figure bills written off like that.

As a last-ditch thing, if they won't write them off...consider filing for bankruptcy and starting over. Insanely, you sometimes get credit cards soon after bankruptcy because they know you can't refile for years.

short answer, you can't. You're a bad risk to a lender. Why would they give you money so you could "pay it" with a credit card. You're not paying it, you're simply putting the debt somewhere else. If you can't afford the 200-300 a month it would take to pay it off, nobody should lend you the money.

Not what you want to hear I'm sure, but unfortunately the truth.

Is EMIs on my Credit Card a better option than Personal Loan?

I am planning to go for a personal loan to meet my marriage expenses. I was just wondering if I could use my Credit Card to meet my marriage expenses, and later agree with the bank to pay the dues in EMIs. Will this work out cheaper than personal loan?

Certainly NOT!

EMIs on a Credit Card are usually charged at interest rates of 24% to 36% per annum. Whereas Personal Loans come at 14% interest rates.

So for every Rs 1000 you borrow from a credit card (as opposed to the Personal Loan) you lose anywhere between Rs 100 to Rs 220 each year.

Just go for the Personal Loan. But it is usually much harder to get.

Absolutely NOT.
Credit card charges around 36-48% per annum and personal loans are available at 14-18% so you can decide which one is cheaper...

Venu G u want the credit card loan chase thru out ur life then opt for it. Personal loans are cheaper, easier, and cleaner than credit cards. credit card will kill u beaware.

No the rate of interest is more ina credit card than personal loan

Definitely PL is much cheaper than CC. Moreover, Indian Credit Cards companies are indulged in malpractice and there are lot of hidden charge and other problems associated. So say NO to credit cards. Check these links

Though it about one bank, most Credit Card Companies operate the same way.

And yes.. if you are going for PL... never mandate ECS...always go for PDC.

which one is cheaper a personal loan of 3 lakhs for 3 years or a bank overdraft of 3 lakhs for 3 years.?

Overdraft facility is given on CC account against collateral security. It is not available to all.
It's definitely cheaper than personal loan, as the interest rates are lower, and you have the option to utilise the money when needed, and pay it back when not, thereby paying interest only on the amount utilised and the period for which it is utilised.

Well depends on the interest rates. If they both have same interest rates you pay the same amout in both cases. However overdraft facility gives you a freedom of using it when you need.So if you dont use it you dont have to pay interests. You just pay for the processing fees n whatever minimal charges. However with personal loan the moment you get the loan you have to start paying interest rate.

There are so many uses for old secured personal loans, and the chances are you will be able to get one quickly and easily. It's a common idea that only homeowners can get loans from finance companies. That just isn't true, most people can apply for, and receive an unsecured personal all kinds of uses. You can get loans from a few hundred pounds, up to £25,000, unsecured. These loans can be used to buy a new car, a holiday<!--abroad, a new kitchen, the latest cell phone available, or just about anything else. It is a true that you will probably pay more interest than a homeowner who takes out a secured loan. But on the other hand, they have to take out a second mortgage to get their hands on the money.

http://best-loans.awardspace.com/personalloans.htm

With an unsecured loan, you don't need anything, apart from the application form and a good broker. All kinds of people can apply for unsecured loans, tenants, young people, retired people, people with good and bad credit, you can even get a same-->day loan, and some companies let you apply online. The interest rate you pay will be made very clear to by the broker before you sign anything. As will the amount of the monthly payment, and how long you have to make those payments for. Any quality broker will go out of his way to make sure you understand these rules.

my advice, dont go for personal loan. If you can have overdraft, good else try to borrow from friends and family but not from banks. They will suck everything out of you.

if a car is a personal loan against it cani sell it finance comp tells me it is per loan dont understand?

need to change car a repayments are to high want a run around i am told my finance is a personal loan can i sell the car buy a cheaper one from the dealer and send the difference to finance company dont want to go to garage and be told that i have finance on it and cant sell.what does the personal loan mean

You can refinance a car. You get a used car loan and they pay it off to the other lender.

Your question is a bit hard to understand. It almost looks like you say a personal loan against the car. A personal loan will not be against the car.

Who holds the title to the car and is there a lien holder listed on the title? If you have the title and there is no lien holder then i would think you can do what you want with the car.

A personal loan is just that - a loan to you, with no reference to what the money will be used for. I guess this was from your bank.
Buying a car from a dealer using their finance would result in a loan tied to the car.
So, with a personal loan, the car is not linked to the money, and you can sell it.
With a dealer arranged finance, you can still sell the car, but outstanding finance would have to be paid off at the point of sale.
Best of luck, take care.

Best place to get a personal loan with a co signer...?

My credit raiting sucks... but i have a relative who would co sign for me...and his credit is 700+.... I am trying to get a personal loan that has a very cheap apr rate... I know credit union is like 12.99 ..

I am also a full time college student.....

Which type of a loan should i get... student/personal.. With student loan I do need the money in hand and not straight to school.

Thanks In advance

Credit unions are great, but please remember when you pay it back you are effecting someone else's life.

i have a personal loan with tesco i still owe about £2600 would it it be cheaper to swap to another loan deal?

i pay about £100 a month at the moment! Im in the UK

jojop i would stay just were you are and not incur any more debt -- by the time you wheel and deal switching here and there paying up front fees the little amount you will save will not be worth the effort -- if this was a 26000 loan i would be talking out of the other side of my mouth!!!

selling my car -I have a personal loan?

I am trying to sell my car and buy a cheaper one but I have finance on my car- It is a personal unsecured loan not a car loan so can I just sell it and buy a new one no worries or do I have to approach the bank about it?
