Bad Credit Personal Loan? All out of resourses....?
I recently started back at school after experiencing years of bad luck. I am only 23 and have never had a CC or any kind of loan through a bank or otherwise. After being turned down by every bank and financing company I can think of, I am out of answers!!! I need to know what I can do to obtain a personal loan, it's not alot but its needed desperately. Its for dental surgery. I need it soooo bad!! My dentist quoted me at $2500.00. Pls if anyone knows of any place I can apply, let me know. I live in Canada. I dont own a home. I don't own a car. I am a single student, full time employed. I just need someone to cut me a break.. and free me from this pain in my mouth.. *sad face*
Ask the dentist if you can make payment arrangements. Or find one that will do it. Even if you got a CC it would only be for a small amount to start. You might try a student loan. But I am not sure how that works in CA. In the USA you can get more than what is owed or needed for other things with school loans.

You can also try orchard bank card they offer a credit card for high risk people and even horrible credit. It is not a secured card either. A friend of ours got one of these thru household bank. You can try that too... May you can do it in steps to get all the work done.

I don't know about Canada, but in the UK, if you've never had credit its even more difficult to get.
My advice is start off with one of those high interest credit cards and stick to minimum payment each month. They will only give you a very low amount to borrow like £150. Then if you keep your payments on time for about 4 months that will improve your credit rating.
I know it might not help now but will in the future.
If you are a student, will you be able to keep up the repayments? Most lenders will see you as a risk sadly ;-(

Need a personal loan - have no credit?
I just turned 18 and have no credit, not bad credit and no co-signer. I own my own car and live with my parents rent free. I need a loan of $3,500 in one chunk to purchase a laptop, so it has to be in the luxury category and not autos or home loans.
I need the option to pay off the loan early, like within 3-6 months without any additional fees. If interest is below 50% I'll give the thumbs up.
I currently work as a freelance web designer (which is why I need the laptop), meaning my income is varied from month to month. I will be getting two part time jobs within the next few weeks and already have $2,500 saved up to pay off part of the loan.

How do I get a personal loan for around $25K, with bad credit? Can I use my minor daughter as a cosigner? I lived on rice and beans, and top ramen noodles, for a number of years... never had a television, a VCR (in those days there were no DVDs), CD player, cable TV, cell phone, never went to see movies in theaters, no vacations, no booze, or fast foods, and I only bought a used car once (an economy Izusu)... cash.
Now, I am retired at a relatively young age.

No credit history, need home equity loan.?
I own my home free and clear - value at 150k, paid cash three years ago. I have no credit cards, no car loans, and have paid cash for everything for the past 15 years... therefore, I have NO credit - not bad, not good, just NONE reported. I tried to get a 30k home equity loan for personal needs, but was denied because of "no reported credit". I have an income of about 2500 per month (gross) and I have no debt. Do I have other options? your only hope is to go to a bank...They have the option to make "common sense" loans which are based on your collateral and ability to re-pay. Not many Mortgage companies will be able to help you....try many banks (perferrably one you have a realtionship with for a long period of time)

Can you convert a 2nd mortgage to a personal unsecured loan?
I have a primary mortage of $180k ($1600/mo including prop. tax over 30 yrs), a 2nd mortage of 97k (850/mo over 20yrs), and another 2nd of 27k(400/mo over 7yrs) I have a house valued at 300-310k. My income is ~110k which nets me around 6k a month. My total credit card payments are $1500/mo (60k). Right now I am over my head in payments.
I plan on selling my house but to avoid a short sale or worse, can I negotiate with my 2nd mortage (the 27k over 7 yrs) to convert that into an unsecured personal loan? If I sell my house, I plan on living with family for a little so I would free up a lot of income, but it would help to sell the house and get some $ left over assuming I can convert the 2nd mortage? Will the bank agree to it? It would mean my debt load once the house is sold would only be 87k which is not too bad with my income I think.
